About the vibes:
First of all, the original handlebar is "balanced".
There are steel bars welded inside the tube, so it
would be difficult (almost impossible) to add
any extra weight there.
I replaced the original handlebar last summer
with an aftermarket (HD/K&N)handlebar. That was
"empty", but surprisingly the vibes where not
that bad. Anyway later (this spring) I bought
a cheap pair of tools (the one you can hit
holes into e.g. concrete, don't know the name)
and sew them into pieces about 15cm long. Those I
stuck (almost had to use hammer) into the bar.
Funny, but vibes didn't change much. And by the
way, they have always been worse on the right
side!! Like now after that procedure. So, finally
I bought a pair of aftermarket grips that are
longer and thicker than the originals. They work
well and look heavier/more massive, what's best,
the vibes are gone..
(..but the right mirror still starts showing
my face at 110kmph)
Save riding, folks!
